Confidence is the most underrated and essential part of a racing program; it can mean the difference between winning and finishing outside the top ten. Look at Adam Cianciarulo and Aaron Plessinger; both are incredibly talented, but Adam went into the 450 class full of confidence, and Aaron went in low on confidence due to offseason injuries. Their 250 results suggest their talent levels are similar, so why is one succeeding and one struggling? I believe it's pure confidence.
